Diary for Stressed Person
As I was saying—after such a long time away. Sorry about that, but you know how it goes: summer came and eventually went... which meant a lot of extra work for me. Don't forget, I'm from Greece. Live your myth in Greece... for the summer!!!
I’m supposed to be at work by 9:00 AM. Look, I’m not going to make excuses about who can actually be on time or how bad traffic was today. Sure, that’s part of it, but that’s not really my point.
The truth is, I don't want to be on time!
First of all, I’ve always believed I’m fast enough that I don't need extra time to get organized. Taking 20 minutes to settle in, sip a coffee, chat, or ease smoothly into the workday just isn't for me—it feels boring. I prefer to arrive like a hurricane, make a quick coffee, and dive straight into work.
And, of course, I am one of those people who HATES WAITING for anything.
Ironically, if I have to wait for something at work, I look completely calm and passive on the outside... but on the inside, I’m boiling. I think the only reason I don't vent my frustration is because I'm not the manager here.
On top of that, I despise feeling rushed. I hate watching the clock and feeling anxious about the time, so as a result... I’m late to everything. The gym, coffee dates, going out, classes—you name it.
On a scale of 0 to 5, how punctual are you? (Where 5 means almost never being late!)
